have earned. Every client who comes to Marina
from another billing company or hospital billing
has experienced an increase in cash collections,
often dramatically more. The amount we collect
for our clients, per patient (“Average Payment
per Patient”, or “APP”), is
a key metric at Marina.

in the coding department, who are paid differently - receives a
major portion of their compensation from monthly performance bonuses
tied to exceeding each client’s cash collections Benchmark – if
they fail to exceed the Benchmark then their bonus that month is
$0. In this way we directly align the interests of every person
at Marina with the interests of our clients.
