On June 20, 2012, T-System, Inc. acquired Marina Medical Billing Service (MMBS), a medical coding/billing company based in Cerritos, Calif. For 30 years, MMBS has provided emergency department physician coding and billing services for more than 1,800 physicians in 13 states.
MMBS is now T-System. The services provided by MMBS will be offered as part of T-System RevCycle+™, a technology-enabled revenue cycle management solution for hospitals and physicians.
